The wifi chip used in this project is the CC3000.<br \/>\n<br style=\u201dclear:both;\u201d \/><br \/>\n<br style=\u201dclear:both;\u201d \/><br \/>\nTutorials on how to get the CC3000 to work with the Arduino are all over the WWW, what I would like to add is an example on how to have the Arduino talk to a smartphone or similar.<br \/>\n<br style=\u201dclear:both;\u201d \/><br \/>\n<br style=\u201dclear:both;\u201d \/><br \/>\nThe communication protocol used here is Telnet. The data comes from a DHT22 sensor which measures humidity and temperature. Actually this is an extended mashup of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.openhomeautomation.net\/arduino-wifi-cc3000\/ \" title=\"open home automation\">open home automation<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.adafruit.com\/wifi-candy-bowl\/overview\" title=\"candy bowl project\" class=\"external external_icon\" rel=\"nofollow\">candy bowl project<\/a>.
